My Tracksports are in the mail. Only problem, I had requested 600/700 and they are 650/750. Problem?
Just got my confirmation email from Josh@Achtuning (thanks Josh) that my Stasis Tracksports are on their way to me. Only issue was that they are apparently out of the 600/700 springs I ordered, and so mine are shipping out to me with 650/750 springs instead. Is this a problem? I had done hours of research on this, mostly in the STFA, before deciding on this set up. I want something that is tight, responsive, and predictable, but I still need a comfortable daily driver, and a car I can drive on 300 mile trips to visit family in Boston without needing to look up a Chiropractor when I get home. I had found that most people considered anything less than 600/700 to be a little too soft for the suspension, and also that anything more (700/800 for example) was too rough. I'm assuming that 650/750 should be fine, and not much more stiff than the 600/700 anyway, but I wanted to ask you guys for your advice/opinions on this. Does anyone else on here already have this set up? TIA for the help :-)

Never been in a 650/750 but on stock wheels, I really think you're going to enjoy them.
I've been in 600/700 car with 18" wheels and thought they were very comfortable.
And just to let you know, ride is important to me as well. I have the 500/600 setup and though i'm running 19's, ride is just fine. =)
But yah, I'm sure you'll like them regardless.

I've been wringing out my 700/800 TrackSport setup for a week now. Say bye-bye to cushy sport sedan. You now have a sports CAR.
From what I've read on the forum, the springs aren't as critical as the dampers themselves - however, I only have stock and upgrade to compare.
I am completely stoked with the cornering on twistys - but crappy pavement and potholes are a Porsche GT-3 nightmare of teeth jarring impacts.
Was it worth it? I'm not sure just yet.
