Need recommendations on suspension mods in Seattle area
Okay all, I'm just about to hit the 5k mark and I figure it's time to start modding. I was gonna go with suspension first then some wheels/tires. I've heard good things about coilovers.
1 - I don't plan to track and don't do any regular street racing but do like to speed and enjoy the handling of the S4 when there's not many other cars around me. Are coilovers overkill? I live in Seattle BTW. What spring rates are recommended? I don't drive a lot of people around in the S4 so comfort is not too high of a priority. Where are some good places to purchase/install them and about how much should I expect to spend?
2 - I am planning to get some 19" Sportecs w/S-03's afterwards. Yes, I'm getting them strictly on looks only and don't mind that they weigh a ton. Should I get the wheels/tires first then get the suspension modded to avoid rubbing or is it easy to adjust the suspension if I get the wheels/tires after?
3 - Should I go ahead and add on a sway bar in addition to coilovers? I'm going for the ever popular 19mm swaybar set on soft.
Thanks for your time all!
