Need some advice on pricing Stg 3 S4 to a friend
All the upgrades are posted in my sig. I bought the car with 46,772 miles in March 2006, and the car currently has 50,390 miles. Upgraded the car to Stage 3 in June 2006--3 months after I bought the car.
The secondary water pump was replaced at 48,446.
The viscous fan clutch was replaced at 49,626.
I'm going to throw in a bunch of stuff like a VAG-COM, Bentley manual CD, Schroth QuickFit harnesses (driver and passenger), pressure tester, base carrier bars, and extra brake pads.
I bought the car for $23,000 and I dumped another $23,000 into it for 3,618 miles of enjoyment over the past year or so.
A close friend wants to buy it and I'm trying to come up with a fair price.
The car currently has a boost leak someplace, and he knows about it. We're guessing it's one of the lower IC hoses (again) since this popped off on us once already when we were at Mont-Tremblant last summer. At any rate, he has a source of compressed air at his work and he plans to do a pressure test.
I'm thinking $25,000, but only because it's a nice round number. Is this too low/too high?
I normally wouldn't bother asking, but I also don't want to adversely affect the Stage 3 S4 market either by my actions.
Thanks for the advice.

I absolutely can get $25K for it, but I obviously don't want to overprice to a friend
He has more money than he needs and neither of us have money issues. He just told me to come up with a price and he'll take it. He loves the car. I'm just trying to come up with a "fair" price.
If the consensus is I should take less, then I will take less than $25K...
