need some input on 2 separate noises: one squeak, one a slight clunk.
First, the squeak:
From the driver seat, it sounds like right/rear.
It is a sqeak on something that is definitely turning. It sounds like I have a hamster on its running wheel in my car when I am rolling forward. Easily heard at low speeds, but not all of the time. I mainly notice it when I am in my parking garage.
right now, the car is in the air and I cannot replicate it by spinning the wheel, but I do hear my brake pad rubbing the rotor ever so slightly. No sure if that could be it.
So, I thought maybe something in the drive shaft like the support bearing or CV.
It's not a groan or a grind, so I think that rules out wheel bearing.
I also have a symptom of when I turn left and gas it, I get a vibration in the cabin, mostly through the shifter.
Suggestions?
2nd is a clunk from the rear. Again, car is off the ground, and I cannot replicate it by trying to shake a wheel. It really only occurs when I am leaving my parking garage. Not heard on speed bumps or driveway lip, or anything like that. Just on the mostly smooth concrete, and it doesn't matter if I am in gear, coasting, or whatever.
Withg the car off the ground, the suspension looks fine, but I haven't taken off a wheel, just looking at it from the outside.
When I did my rear suspension, my whole car clunked until I got my alignment. I thought maybe I need another?
From under the car, things look fine. But then, I'm not sure what I should be looking for.
Thanks for any input.

I'm going through the same thing and trying to pinpoint. Here's some of my research
This is what mine sounds like.

Hoping it's tie rods.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiforum.ca/audi-a4/1180-wierd-sound-when-turning.html">Decent discussion from another board</a></li></ul>
