New k04 owner with a question....
My ko4s seem to whistle alot louder than my k03's did and i had them both with dp's. Its a very, very high pitched sound. Is this normal for new turbos? Thanks for the help.

went stg 2+ up to full stg 3
wish i had heard the dentist drill sound before so i could tell. Turbos only have 60 miles on them, so i don't think its my fault.

My k04's are very quiet. no noticeable whining at all <more>
My 2nd set of K03's whined from the beginning-- clearly louder than the stock ones ever did-- and they only lasted 9 months. I was very good to them, warm up, cool down, etc...
With my experience, I would be worried that you were hearing anything "alot" louder.
