noise at 70 mph (differential)
I have recently noticed a noise--like a hum--that appears to come from the rear of the car at exactly 70 mph. It stops as I accelerate through 70 and does not exist below 70. It happens in 4th , 5th , 6th gears so it does not appear to be engine rpm or transmission related. It seems louder on a steady pull uphill. It is more prevelant when the car is warmed up.
I did recently install my mille miglia 16 in wheels and Dunlop snows and I cannot say wehther or not it existed prior to the swap.
It is scheduled to the dealer in a week. However my warranty expires at the end of January so I want to ensure a total fix. It is a 2000 and I have 27000 very easy miles.
Has anyone experienced this? (mrb1913@socket.net)

Mine occurs at 65 - the dealer blamed my tires and I told them they were full of crap but
they didn't beleive me... (what do I know, right?)
I still have the noise (after several sets of different types of tires, too).
