Sound's familiar.....what happened to the silver trim?
Did it arrive a phucked up like mine. Good luck getting them to claim responsibility. It literally took me months to get them to be responsible. What's the story?

Yes... (more)
Most of it came out of shape and some of it was actually dented. They were really nice on the phone and supposedly have already shipped out the new replacement pieces. (I have not seen them yet) they also sent out a UPS call tag to pick up the damaged pieces. I've already sent the damaged pieces back. However, I just sent them in today so I'll have to let you know if they refund my credit card or not.
What was your experience? What did they say?

Sheesh! You got off lucky...
...they must have learned from my dealings with them. BTW - NEVER deal with Neil.
When I first ordered, Neil (the operator) had this attitude like he was doing me some big friggin' favor by taking my order. He was appearently unnerved that I did not know the part #s and that he would have to look them up.
When they arrived, they were packed in a FLOOR MAT box that was only FIVE INCHES wide. The box had a big hole punched in it and looked like it had been kicked around the UPS truck. When I opened it, 3 of 6 trim pieced were bent out of shape and 2 were dented (presumably by the plastic pegs from the other pieces).
When I called Clair's, they said that there was nothing they could do.....call UPS. When I called UPS, they said Clair's was responsible for poor packaging and I had to work with them to get replacements.
So, after a few weeks of getting nowhere, I simply re-ordered and PAID AGAIN for the damaged parts, in hopes that I would be reimbursed once responsibility had been assigned. No such luck. The new parts arrived and I installed them.
I waited 2 more months and was never reimbursed for the new parts. I had even sent the damaged parts back to Clair's, at my expense. I called UPS and they said that they had issued Clair Parts a check for the damaged items over a month ago! WHAT?!?!
I promptly called Clair Parts and they were caught. They were paid for the original 6 parts and 3 replacements by me and UPS paid for another 3.....for a total of 12. They had only shipped 9. The had been double-paid for 3 and never said a word. After some stink-raising, my credit card was refunded for the 3 damaged pieces.
I will never deal with Clair's again. I'm glad that your experience was different. Someone over there needs to learn the proper way to pack $hit.

Man.. that sucks I'm sorry......
The only complaint I have is that NOONE ever answers the damn phone in the audi parts department over there. But yes, I pretty much always get additude when I call over there.

I only got that $hit from that Neil character...
...everyone else there was cool, they were just awfully quiet about having been issued a check by UPS. I had to call them and ask for my refund.

You too? I waited months for a return shipmennt notice from UPS
and it never came, so I called Clair and told them I was shipping it myself. Still haven't heard back from them. It's probably to late. I am sure they will have no idea what I am talking about when I call. $50.... *flush toilet*

lol... Karma or something.. check out this...........
So UPS came, but since they issued the call tag and the new parts at the same time, UPS somehow got confused and picked up the new parts and shipped them right back with the call tag. I'm so frustrated right now I can't even tell you.
