Yup, it was originally done by Innovator
All you do it cut the stock shifter 1"-1.5" & re-thread it if you have a stock shift ****. I have a momo **** & boot so I didn't have to re-thread.

will the **** lock on tight and be positioned correctly? i mean will it still be straight? you get what i mean? well anyways will it ? 
im not going to get stuck w/ a shiftknob that lock with 1st gear in the 6th gear place right?
