Default OK detailing gurus...how do i get this off the tips of my G2? [bww]

this was something that happened at my last service interval. i think the tech who washed and detailed my car after servising sprayed something on the tips. i saw it at the time, but thought it would come out easily.

no such luck. i've tried Eagle One chrome polish and it isn't having any effect.

any suggestions?

When using that.. once the black stuff appears, do you keep rubbing, or buff with clean towel?

I think you keep rubbing more, then rub more polish in the tips & then buff with a towel

Use fine steel wool with the polish you have. It gets tons of **** out and won't scratch.

Default That stuff worked wonders on my stainless steel bathroom sink! Removed black oxidation spots...

and turned the sink into a fun-house mirror.
