Ok guys, I need a reality check here, running rich and roller coaster boost...
I've been STFA for a while now and think I may have figured out what the problem is, but figured I would ask anyways to be sure.
Symptoms are:
1. tail pipes getting a little too black for comfort and exhaust has faint fuel smell == Rich
2. My *** dyno started noticing that power seemed to be missing too, not hitting til higher RPMs
3. Did some logging on a couple of occasions, highlights of which are below. It seems to hit right when I request a spike, but it's a roller coaster ride when cruising.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/122076/pull_2_extended_range.jpg">
Throwing only one code == intermittent clutch switch, don't think it could be related, but will be replacing soon.
I tested for boost leak == none.
MAF's seem ok,
not sure on Load cycles though because of a lack of data points for those.
My thoughts are that it is the DV's gone bad. I replaced them with 710n's less than a year ago though. So what does AW think? Is there something I'm overlooking?

Hard to tell from VAG logs, but I don't see roller coaster boost there.
Are you still stock, except for piggies? That looks like a normal stock boost curve to me.
Can you explain the symptoms a little more?

looks like you're getting throttle cut. Log block 115 only and get back to us
do a few runs where you start at different RPMs and get on the throttle in different ways (i.e. ease into it a couple times, mash on it a couple)
what chip are you running?

He's at ~9 psi tapering to ~7 up top on the stock ECU. What am I missing?
Those second two are part throttle and graphed against time, not RPM, and he didn't subtract ambient pressure.

Graphing against rpm would have been a mess for the extended range graphs, that's why I chose time
either way, it's showing improper response when crusing, unless it's supposed to be like that?
Oh, and sorry I didn't subtract ambient, figured people knew it was in there so no big deal, will do full conversion to psi and gauge readings next log.
