Default OK to mount a tire rotating the wrong way?...

I bubbled a tire yesterday on a pothole and put the spare on till the replacement arrives, however, it has to rotate the wrong direction...does this make a difference in the dry?(RE040)

Default I can't see how, but I would love to hear.....

The tread is to get rid of water and prevent hydroplaning.

And, who cares, it is the spare!

Theoretically the tire could separate..it's designed to rotate one way...

Default I think that was true years ago, but not any more...

Otherwise, car manufacturers wouldn't use directional tires as spares.

Default Yeah, I have heard that also. And that you shouldn't rotate

side to side. But I am going to anway! Especially being lowered and wearing the crapp out of the insides of my tires...

Default I had to do this for a while awaiting a new tire (m)

I never had any problems. I wouldn't make it a habit, but in your situation I wouldn't worry about it.

Default there should be an arrow on the side of the tire indicating the rotation of the tire

if you can't find it, you're possibly fine.
