Is there a writeup online somewhere that has the S4 tranny pulling? I've check S4Biturbo.com, S-cars.org and the archive here with no luck? Is it a lot different than the A4 swap other than the obvious tranny difference? Thanks guys.

Default Shouldn't be all that different...

Default Mike, what do you think of this setup?

Bosch Green Giants (Volvo)
3.7Bar FPR
Zeitronix AFR Meter
90mm MAF
RS6/K04s
Revolver Cams
GIAC X Tweaked
ASP "Wide Mouth" Intake Manifold
Oil Catch Can
Apexi AVCR
Piggie DPs w/ Dumps
Open Element Intake
Vertical mount 1300CFM FMIC

Suggestions? I am just pondering late at night for fun.

Default oops, you are right. 3.7bar FPR

Green Giants @ 2.7Bar = 429cc/m
Greentops @ 4Bar = 517cc/m

so, Giants @ 3.7 should be about 588cc/m? Should be puuuurfect.

Default Only if you have a long garage

It's a bit of a squeeze in a standard garage

Suspend the engine, drop the sub-frame and remove the tranny is way easier

Those are *very* nice. You should have no problem running em @ 4bar.

Default That looks pretty well orchistrated ;)

The only thing I'd be worried about is how much a PITFA putting the tranny back on is. With the engine on the floor it can sometimes be a real pain.

Default The Bentley manual is pretty good, but don't believe the part about the SAC mechanism

being set from the factory - make sure you know how it works and how to tell if it's set properly.

Mike's comment below is very interesting, I never considered pulling the entire engine/tranny assembly - I guess pulling just the tranny in my garage on jackstands means I'm qualified to swap turbos now!

Email me if you have more questions.
