Owned by NH state cop using instant on K radar. I was going about
85mph on I93 south around Sanbarton. He was sitting in the median facing traffic when he nailed me from roughly 100 yds. My V1 was screaming at peak signal the moment he switched it on. He knew he was a tricky cop, you could tell by the way he swaggered up to the window and the only words he said were "license & registration" leaving absolutely no room for small talk. He looked like a cross between Eastwood and Bronson. I could tell he prided himself in nailing people with radar detectors. He said nothing about mine, maybe didn't even see the stealth Toy Guy install. He was experienced enough to know I had one as I nailed the brakes the instant he hit me. I respect this guy cause I'm difficult to catch speeding. The fine is cheap at $115 (85 in 65) but I'm not sure if NH communicates with MA insurance companys.
I also have a K40 laser diffuser and have blown by many laser weilding cops, matter a fact I've never been stopped since installing the K40. I've always been aware of the danger of instant on K or KA radar but have never seen it used in NH so beware if you are travelling in NH.

Yeah, now that I'm Lidatek-equipped, instant-on radar is my primary concern again.
Laser used to really bother me, but I'm cool with it now. Thank goodness most departments seem to be migrating to laser - that's easily circumvented now.

Interesting, I've never seen them there... I ALWAYS see them just south of Tilton (exit 20)...
I know all of their hiding spots, but hardly ever go above 75 anymore because the Troopers are so prevalent. If I am going above 75 mph, I am shadowing a speeding car ahead of me. But then again, they like to VASCAR many sections of I-93 as well, so even shadowing is not 100% ticketproof.
