The sizing of this diode is really more indepth than picking up your local radioshack rectifer diode. Since you wired it correctly and are having this issue. I would say try a small signal diode in place of the rectifier diode.

What stage and what tune are you ? Another easy way to get around this is by having your tuner code out the rear O2s and thus getting rid of the CEL.

Tried this already.
I'm running AWE STG3.
AWE won't delete the CEL code for cat delete.

Why don't you just get spacers / CELiminators?

Do you have a vag that you can post the 02 voltages? And also know what the voltages were before the mod?

Yes.
Before the mod I had up to 1.2volts.
After the mod I got max .45volts.
However, after the mod I got these codes:

17522 - P1114 - Bank1-Sensor2 Internal Resistance too High
17548 - P1140 - Bank2-Sensor2 Internal Resistance too High

What's strange is the mod did what it's supposed to do by
achieving .45volts.
However I got a CEL with the following codes above.

If the voltage hits zero with the mod (as in the minimum voltage), it will have "infinite" resistance. The diode will be turned off and there is no more connection to the O2 sensor.

So how do you keep it from hitting zero?

Is that what's happening? Finding diodes with a lower turn on voltage would help. Schottky diodes have this for example.
