Story.. is uneventful. I had just finished installing Windows, ECUx, VAG-COM (shareware) and the Bentley manual on my spare laptop which will now be dedicated to my car's every whim. At 8pm, the weather here in SLC was very overcast and slightly cool for a change, so I decided to take the car out for some logging of my new stg 2+ setup (just installed fmic).
Things were going fine, until I felt a bit of a jut, and came to a stop after exiting the freeway. As I left the stopsign, I remember looking down and noticing my acceleration was completely linear.. and no boost at all.
Then *snap* itw as right back again, boosting hard like it should. But smoke was everywhere.
I drive home as modestly as possible and park. Got on here and asked about it, decided it's gotta be the pcv.
Went out for another short drive to try to burn the oil from the crankcase and get the smoke to stop. Bad idea.
The mutant baby made it abundantly clear. And now.. I need a beater ASAP.
RS6 with built motor, get ready! I'm coming!

word to the wise: if your 2ndary water pump goes out, fix it ASAP.
i think that's what butchered the k03s.. it's summer and my 2nd pump picked the perfect time to bite the dust. still drove carefully but i was losing coolant nonstop and the heat probably just .. eh.
perfect storm. oh well, 330 hp isn't nearly enough anyway.
