You WANT to move to CA? Eeew. I repeatedly ignore CA job listings.
No offense to the CA AW members, but I want no part of 91 octane and million-dollar shacks with 3 roommates and an hour commute each way. It's bad enough here in DC with the cost & congestion. I don't need to make things worse.

I've actually been talking with some friends. It seems that in LA, you can live pretty comfortably
on about $150k a year. I'm definitely leaning that way after grad school. The common thinking is that $150k a year will net you a nice apartment on the beach with an M5 in the garage below. Any LA peeps want to commen on the level of truth in this statement?
