Plea for people NOT to use FedEx Ground......I bought some used HRE rims from someone here on......

I use to work in the shipping department for a few years...Fedex is by far the best courier. Even...
the best mess up sometimes. They are also significantly cheaper than UPS ground as well!

Fedex Air and over night is great, fedex ground....lowest common denominator...
Their systems are so screwed up I swear I dont know how they honestly know where anything is. The tracking system is all lies it has no idea when the package will really arrive.

FYI; fed ex ground is actually not run like the rest of fed ex... the ground employees are all ex
DSL workers who were absorbed into the fed ex name when they were bought... all the fed ex ground drivers are actually 1099 employees, meaning they have there own trucks, they are paid by what they deliver, not a staright salary. they also have all there own claims depts, hubs, etc. I use fed ex ground for a lot of merchandise, but with anything of serious value, bump to the 3 day service. it is than handled by the main fed ex air service and doesn't cost much more at all.... if there is a problem, thet are a ton easier to deal with, and normally have their **** together.
