Default please explain...

I need front rotors and pads and I dont understand how our cars can have 4 pads per side (so they are quoting me 8 total pads, 2 rotors, labor included for $750!!) Is this right?

Default Yep. Our calipers have (2) inboard and (2) outboard pads per caliper.

Brakes are not hard to work on. You can do this yourself for much less than they are charging.

Default One upper, one lower pad on the outside of the rotor; one upper, one lower pad on the inside of the

rotor. That's four pads for ONE rotor. Rinse and repeat for the other rotor. 8 pads total.

Save yourself the labor charge and do the change yourself. Pad swap is stupidly easy on this car, and a rotor swap is pretty easy as well.

Default get your own and DIY

Get some Mintex pads ($80 for the fronts methinks...) and spend an afternoon playing with your car

$750 is an unbelievable ripoff.

Default Dealer math: $500 parts + $150 labor + tax.

DIY Match: $300-350 parts + $2.50 beer (make it a good bottle, you deserve it).

No logic there...I have 6 piston brakes, but only 2 pads per caliper.
