Default pleased to be telling me sirs how to remove brake line from caliper

wtf? i cant get this 11 mm nuts to break lose without feeling i am going to mangle it.

calipers on the car are frozen, so i am replacing with non frozen ones. need to get this line off to supplement the new ones and replace line in same spot.

any ideas, tech articles dont cover this

i feel like a dumbass, subarus are so much easier to work on.

Do you have the proper brake line flare wrench? It almost completely encircles the fitting.

Default ok, now i am really f'ed. every other nut that i tried to loosen, moving my way up the line

hoping i could splice in somewhere is stripped.

new caliper closest to the piston, stripped
end of metal brake line to rubber line, stripped on car
there is now now way i could splice in any part of the line. this has to be the twilight zone. i cant belive this is happneing to me

if just barely stripped -> flare wrench + hammer to seat it. if round vice grips should work..ick

Default sounds bad. if your going to be adding new lines, can you cut the attached line and i think

craftsman sells a tool that will grip a stripped bolt. might want to check the sears website.
