Default Put in the Walbro pump today, what a PITA.

It took all of an hour I guess. I went ahead and bought the stupid wrench ($80) and expect to use it just once in my lifetime. Luckily I did buy it b/c the actual pump is way the hell down in the tank. A quick test drive revealed no leaks but the fuel settings need to be done all over again. If anyone intends on doing this I have a wrench you can borrow.
BTW, archives show that some people complain of added noise with the pump. I actually hear more noise coming from outside now as opposed to coming from the trunk.

You might hear it more when you're low on fuel....at least in my experience.

Default how the hell did you get that wrench into that small space?

I just sucked it up and bought the wrench to save me some frustration. Now my back hurts from being hunched over for an hour. Then there's the dizzy feeling from the gasoline.

I agree, a PITA job. Mine went right after I filled the tank too.
