Default Quality Valentine One installation in Manhattan??

Any suggestions? Have a new V1 on the way and want it hard-wired next to the rear view as others have smoothly done. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Why not do-it-yourself? Seems easy enough by looking at the Tech article.

Default If you want to pay for a toll to NJ I can do it for you, but it is *very* easy.

Go for it and try it yourself. You'll be surprised at what you can do.

Perhaps I'll give it a go.

Default Same here, way easier than I thought it would be.

I got the remote display, very clean looking. I didn't sink mine into the steering column like the tech page here did, I just stuck it on top. I also flipped my rearview mirror over so it fits above the passenger side of the mirror. IMO very very clean for a radar detector. I can't see any cords.

Here is another good link: http://www.taner.net/s4/boost_gauge/

It's Taner's page on the A-pillar boost gauge install, but has some good shots of how to remove the A-pillar interior panel.

It is easy, but if your not comfortable with it be sure to have someone help you or do it for you. Good Luck.

V1 Install write-up
