This quesiton may be pretty stupid, but seeing as I have no manual, I have to ask it here.

On the dash for my 02 S4 I have 2 buttons that look like they are fog light buttons, next to my traction control (esp) button.

What is the difference between the 2 buttons? What are they each supposed to do?

One is for the front fog lights and the other is for the one rear fog light.

I never noticed a fog light in the rear of the car. Thanks for the quick reply.

Okay so now stupid question number 2, which light on the rear is the rear fog light?

I have heard its supposed to be one of the lights above the license plate, but when i turn on my rear fog lights, I get the Highest light on my driver side brake light coming on. I imagine the passenger side would too, but there is no bulb in that side (need to replace it).

The fog light is on the left tail light (although you could put bulbs for both sides if you wanted), it's just a brighter red light so people can see you from behind in the fog.

I have a suggestion... turn on your lights, get out of the car and look while playing with the fog light switches.
