Question about expiring warranty and turbos
In 5,000 miles my warranty expires. Turbos are making a faint dentist drill sound. Besides trying to blow them. What can I do, and have others done, as far as seeing or knowing if they are damaged in anyway. Will the dealer only replace them if they are blown? How should I approach my Audi dealer about my possible concern. Has anyone else had this senerio.

You can pull the downpipes off to inspect the turbine wheels and inspect for oil leaks. You could
also inspect the compressor wheels/check for leaks but it's rather difficult/impossible without tearing stuff apart.

I'll be in the same boat come June (I'll hit the date before the mileage) ... I'm going to try and..
blow those *****'s!

Of course the flip side is if they don't blow before the CPO warrantee runs out ;-(
