Default Question about oil leakage coming from the return line on my turbos....

Had my car in for a routine service and when I went to pick the car up I was informed that the oil return line coming off the turbo going back to the oil pan is leaking a small ammount of oil. (not allot but there is some sepage)
I was then told this is common and nothing to worry about. My question is this something I should be concerened with and is this "normal and or common?

Also on a side note I am running KO4s

Default dude, you shouldnt be leaking oil from oil drain line

make sure the line isnt kinked or clogged or anything. that can wreck a turbo very quick

Default Are you sure it's not oil coming from above.....I was just looking for an oil....

leak on my dad's A6 2.7T - I initially saw some oil on the oil return line - realized pretty quick it's coming from above - probably valve cover gaskets, cam seals or cam adjuster gaskets.

Maybe it's dripping down from above - just a thought.

Default FIrst & foremost, I'd say clean it completely, drive it, and make sure it's

actually leaking. It may also be just a loose bolt on the return line, or the oil feed line may need to be tightened a little more. IMO, it's more common to see the feed line leaking after a turbo swap.

I got too long bolts and one snapped when I tried to make it stop leaking.
