From the various pictures posted recently, it appears the S4's have chrome exhaust tips. Are the tips welded on? And, are the tailpipes the same diameter of the 2.8's exhaust? I thought they would look great on my 99.5 A4 Avant 2.8!

I'm not trying to make mine an S4, just dress up the cheap looking exhaust tips on the 2.8.

They're nice, but I would use something else if I were going aftermarket. Not nice enough IMHO.

I'm not really sure how the chrome portion is held on...looks like they just slip on.

Those spot welds are bad- I like the Remus muffler much better than this
