To my knowledge, 2000 - Pirelli P6000, 2001 - Bridgestone RE040, 2002 - Michelin Pilot Sport

I think its a region thing. I had Pirellis, (PA) in MD i saw lots of RE040

Default My 2000 had those POS P6000! After 6k the sounded like hell!.......
Tried to have Audi replace them but they said it was my fault that the wheels were not aligned right! WTF! So got sears to call Pirelli and had them pay for 3/4 of another set of P6000, same thing happend, finally got Pirelli to take pay for Micheliin Pilot Sports and they are great!

Default It seemed to be pretty random. First was RE040's, then P6000 were added to the mix...
then finally an OEM version of the Pilot Sports.

2002's at my dealer in Cincinnati had P6000's and Michelin Pilot's mixed (I got the Michelin's)!
