Rear passenger window making click sound at peak when closed. Already STA, (details/? inside)
All other windows work fine, except that there is a loud, single click that happens at the peak of the window's travel.
Is there a limit switch that stops the motor from working at a specific point? It seems that the motor is overexerting itself and causing something in the window assembly to buckle and click.
I've taken apart the door to see it, and the assembly seems to bulge out a little as it clicks but I can't pinpoint the location. My last resort will be to disassemble everything and assemble it again.
I tried setting the limits by putting the windows down, and clicking and holding down until there's a click (both up and down) but it seems that I'd need to set the travel manually for that to work.... hmmm
Any help would be appreciated.
