replacement of broken light
My rear left light is cracked, well the cover anyways after a fenderbender yesterday...
It cracked enough to have a hole in it. If I give it to a dealer to repair how much is it gona cost
approx. and are rear light covers readily available to dealers for S4's...
I'm assuming they are the same for the A4...
thanks
Peter

Had same replaced at dealer for $208.48 parts and labor.
Part came from Germany. They got it "red-flagged" for express shipment because it was a safety related part. Took about one week to get in. Also check classifed, believe I saw where someone was selling their rear light assemblies.

Why did Audi change rear light unit?
I notice that older A4s have amber turn signals, but newer ones (and the S4) have red ones.
It surprises me, because I would think the amber ones would be safer (you can't mistake turn signal for brake or parking light), although I think the red ones look better.
