Default Replacing coolant temp switch, should I replace the thermoswitch also (lower temp after-run)?

Last I remember there was some debate whether this was a good mod to do or not.

My old Audi 90 has 225k on it and has always run the after-run pump its whole life without problems, so I'm inclined to do it. I've never heard the afterrun come on the S4 once.

Default u are changing the coolant temp sensor (it's not a switch), then you could change

the lower temp after-run thermo switch (that is a switch - turning the after-run system on/off ..
it's totally your choice, good thing to have imho.. PITA if the pump will start (they usually end up leaking anyway ).. i'd do it for the summer only.
