Default replacing the EGT sensor and O2 sensor

So I recently got some new codes on sensors dying. I guess my car is at that point where sensors fail ...

I looked up in the Bentley how to change the EGT sensors ... just by looking at its location i know its going to be a huge pain. On the exhaust manifold?! What tools and methods do you guys use to get to them?

Also, I have a O2 sensor failure, I hear the driver side downpipe sensor is a PITA, what tools and procedure is the best way to tackle this?

Default changing EGT sensors arent that bad

i had to remove them when i removed the DP's for piggies. for the pass side just remove the accordian hose, for the driver side remove coolant tank. look down and find the things that look like probes sticking in the exhaust manifold. IIRC a 17mm open end wrench does the trick. as for the driver O2... an O2 socket is practically a necessity along with about 3 feet of extention and a breaker bar. good luck
