REVO sounds like what I need. when will this be available?

Hey Dave, think we're all about learning here. So far we're just playing
with Bosch tweaks that have been present from the beginning, much easier to access now though. I truly hope that one of these tuners does indeed offer an "avanced tuning" package with map manipulations and all. As for the leagal issues I'll leave that to the courts as well.

Honestly don't know to be sure.... here is a link to their docs - have 6 fuel tweaks
to work with. Betting one is the same. Tend to default to Lemmiwinks for tweaking as it seems to work on just about every combo I've touched.<ul><li><a href="http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/vtune.html">VTune page with pics:</a></li></ul>

I think Advanced tuning will allow map manipulation
not sure about this, but it will certainly go beyond adaptation channel inputs. This will put it in league with the stand alone ECU software

I don't think so... unless there's another super-dooper version of Lemmi that I don't know about...
For example, Lemmiwinks does not allow you to adapt boost past 100% of whatever's called for in the code you're tweaking. Some versions of MobileTuner do, provided you're working with a file that allows it.
What freaks me out a little about Lemmi is that it scans the adaptation space, and "guesses" at what's what in order to make it compatable with a broad base of boxes and tuner code options. The problem is that there is a distict, though remote possibility that it can "guess wrong" at some point. (TO my knowledge, this has happened a total of two times.) If this happens, you stand a very good chance of tweaking something totally out of whack... For example, if you think you're adding fuel, you might actually be adding timing, or some such, and there would be no way for you to know until your motor had already suffered the consequences.
This is in fact, part of the reason why VTune and (I think MT) use a profiling system that is specific the the code they're manipulating.
The concept behind Lemmiwinks is a neat one... It just has adds an element of risk which is not totally acceptable to me.

here's what I'd like to see. they don't sell to regular people either
<center><img src="http://www.ecutek.co.uk/products/deltaecu/fuel2004.png"></center><p>It's for subarus, but I assume the technology is there to offer it for any make/model. Also take a look at the, "high octane ignition map". See how it gives you red color for trouble areas? That would be nice to have.
