Default Riddle me this... why do my brakes squeal when I'm brake in reverse?

I don't have any problems with the brakes squealing when the car is going forward. It is a little annoying when I'm trying to back up.

This is a little strange and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. Could it be my rear brakes are worn?

I checked my front pads and they seems to be fine. And the indicator brake pad wear light isn't on. Now this this wear indicator work on just the front and not the rear.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default I've had the same problem. The sound went away after a while...

maybe the pads need some breaking in

Default interesting theory... but I've had the pad on for thousands of miles.

maybe, I need to do some hard barking in reverse to wear them down the opposite way

sometimes I wonder if the cold weather play a factor.

yeah, you need to bed your pads in reverse - just do a few 80-0 stops going backwards

Default forward biased wear on the brake rotors and pads...

just stomp on your brakes in reverse a few times....

I think we should start a FATS times database in reverse.
