rs4 clutch vs aftermarket

rs4 clutch vs aftermarket
I'm not biased towards either (not that I've had experience with either) but the rs4 costs a hell of a lot less than aftermarket, and from what I gather, can handle stage III power...so what's the difference?

Re: rs4 clutch vs aftermarket
If you do not do allot of drag racing the RS4 clutch kit is a great option. The reason we offer our STG.3 kit is for people that do a fair amount of drag racing (or allot of hard launches). To answer your Q's yes the RS4 unit will handle STG3 power as long as you do not drag race the car every weekend.

My car came with an RS4 clutch and when I first got it, I launched it almost every day.
There is this sweet intersection on the way home from work that is always deserted, and I had mismatched front tires that I wanted to burn up before replacing them. I recently replaced the clutch disc but the old one had almost no wear, and I probably launched it about 80 times.
Also from what I've seen on this forum, the RS4 has a lighter pedal feel.
Btw, I was stg 2+ then.
