It wasn't the video; it was his utter lack of tact.
Look at his subject: "Raced an RS4--not impressed". If he didn't want to start a flamewar, he could simply have been polite and tactful, and omitted the "not impressed" part. What constructive purpose did it serve? None. Had he omitted it, I can promise you he'd have gotten a better reaction.
Sort of like going out on a first date and saying "I'm not impressed with your dress." How far do you think you'd get?? :-)
