Hey guys I have a 2000 S4 tip with APR chip, Forge diverter valves, and Miltek exhaust. My question is what is the best way to launch the S? Will it hurt the turbos if I sit at the line and spool them up and then mash the gas or should I just mash the gas. I want good times but don't want to ruin my turbos or trany. Also, what other mods can I get to make the car faster? I plan on downpipes but was wondering if there are aftermarket TB's, different MA, filters, etc. that may help. thanks Ron

but don't hold it for too long. bad for teh tranny, but not horrible if done once in a while...search for posts by ming 2.7T and nasa racer from about 2 years ago...lots of discussion about it...

essentially...stand on teh brakes...mash teh gas an dlet go of the brakes as the revs come to about 2500-3000 rpms....don't hold is there..as soon as it gets there (or earlier even), let her rip....
