Details: 425 miles round trip, whole 'lota traffic. Are we heading toward 24/7 grid-lock in the eastern US? 24.7 mpg. No tickets. One problem, grrr...


Problem: intermittent driveline "shudder" followed by flashing check engine light, feels like it will stall under excelleration. Drove below 4K rest of trip. Check Engine light glows constant on Sunday return

Solution (I hope): temp sensor (telling car its cold, when it's not - and changing the fuel mixture).

TTB oh-by-the-way: Clair said they haven't seen any come in with a problem, but know they are selling them through their parts shop. Hmmm...

Cool Audi Sightings: de-badged A4, great wheels, lowered, front rear bumper spoilers, new exhaust, kinda' a plum-ish color?...on 95 heading toward New Haven.


Event: Louis Vitton Classic is held in 3 cities in the world (Paris/NY/Hong Kong). This years theme LV and racing. Great grouping of cars. Especially enjoyed the Can-Am American muscle cars of the late 60's early 70's (including Mark Donohue's '68 Z-28 Camaro, and Parnelli Jones's '70 Boss Mustang).

Also caught the NY Auto Show & auction. In the one hour we watched the Auction, nearly $5 mm in cars passed hands, including a '53 Ferarri 250MM, which fetched one milllllion dollars (think Dr. Evil). Talk about FU money...

I'll post a full report (OT of course) when I develop the film.
