Quake

Hi all, looking to get myself a TT or S4 (2001 or 2002 model). I have recently been around this site for a while now reading posts and etc and havent been able to decide which one to get. Can you guys and gals think of anything that might put the S4 ahead of the TT? I plan on doing mods (Brakes, springs, exhaust, possible OCT tuning) and wonder how the TT responds to these verss the S4? HOw about handling? Coming from a vette so I want something that hugs the road like a mo fo . Thanks all.

The new 3L V6 TT looks cool - S4 is better for mods and faster - TT is very little - fun toy.

The way I see it, I want both show and EXTREME go, so I can do a Rs4 style convsersion and some other asthetic mods and the 2.7T can do the rest Not sure yet, but I am definitley leaning towards the S4. TT is a very nice car, but I think if I invest in a coupe it would be a Porsche.

I can think of plenty of things that put an S4 in front of a TT:

- a rear seat
- four doors (a *big* plus for me)
- a sizeable trunk or a wagon back
- more interior room
- AWD (if you're looking at a FWD TT).

I can think of one substantial advantage of a TT: it's available as a convertible.

These may or may not be important issues to you.

What do you want a car to do? You have to decide that, then find the vehicle that best suits your needs.

and I sure like to give them a ride... The biggest only major drawback to the TT is power, In the handling department, I would gladly put mine up against any S4...but theres no getting past the fact that a boosted four...is still a boosted 4... even at stage three 320hp isnt enough to have any serious fun...

Get the S4 if you are planning to fully mod it.

Sounds like the same VR6, same AWD. A couple more HP in the TT.
