Default Should I buy a snub mount with a DTS?

I'm probably going to get in on the DTS gb at avalon. Should I consider installing an APR snub mount at the same time?

It's a very good combination. Ran it on my 2000. Very tight driveline.

Default You can always add the snub mount later. Based on feedback I've read, doing

both only seems to improve one of the S4's weakeast attributes.

Default Don't you go thru same steps to install both?

I'm thinking if I've got the bumper off for the DTS, I might as well install a $50 mount and save the trouble later.

nope. DTS just bolts on in 30 minutes. Snub you have to remove bumper (BITCH!!!!)

Default Is a snub really worth it then? I think I will benefit from a DTS

During track events I sometimes have trouble hitting 3rd efficiently. Also, my shifter jumps around a lot under hard acceleration, it doesn't bother me but it can't be good for the car. What does a snub mount do?

Default prevents the engine from moving around as much as it does. I noticed a big difference w/ it. it's up

to you though as it's a much more involved install (compared to the DTS).

I have both. They each solve a different, but related problem. I like the combination.

I probably won't, I care more about the tranny moving around than the engine.
