Default This is just for an appointment! They dont even do loaners for services!!

Which is a pity coz they are an Audi/Porsche dealer and I was secretly dreaming they would give me a Porsche loaner

Default You just reminded me!!!!

after I read your post, I called my service dept knowing that there used to be a 2-3 week wait for an appointment. I have a few hundred miles to go before 5K service and they said they can take me as early as tomorrow! Wow!

Default probably. isn't taub a smaller dealership, too?

that might have something to do with it. in newport beach, only the poor people drive audis. everyone else has a porsche or something.

Default you might as well...

do the oil change yourself. Since they don't provide synthetic oil anyways, you will have to buy your own if you want to use synthetic (which is recommanded in your case).

and, maybe just ask them to hook you up with the oil filter and you don't have to pay for it.

the rest, they will check at the service.

Oil change is something you do not want to wait for a month to do~ while keep driving it.

Default goto Rusnak In WESTLAKE VILLAGE.. not pasadena.

They pushed some people aside and got me in the next day for my 10k service.

Real professional and real quick. Tell them that you are going on a long cross country trip and that you need your 5k service asap! Talk to Tom.

Default Go to Pacific Audi in Hermosa Beach...

They always are able to get me in within a week. Officially they can't provide a loaner for just a service, but if you have them check something wrong with the car (ie. told them I had a check engine light and the AutoClimate was acting up) they can provide one. Service managers are real friendly and will work with you.
