Stasis Motor Mounts vs RS4
#2
stasis motor mounts are very stiff, good stuff weird thing is all the passengers
been rode in my car didnt notice any extra vibration and after i told them i am on stasis mounts and they try to feel it again, the answer is still no vibration.
I have done this test too, let the car standing still then just rev the motor to like 3k or so, you can see the motor will move with rs4 mm, but with stasis, it doesnt move

I would love to before and after knock voltages....I always worry that increased..
vibration would result in false knock sensing.
Food for though when you have ****ty timing. Worn out motor mounts or other rattles.

That's the way the ASP trans mounts are too. (I have those with RS4 engine mounts)
Passangers don't notice much more vibration, but the drive can through the steering wheel, dead pedal, gas and brake pedals and shifter. Greatly improved shifting though, and I don't mind the extra vibration.

in 5 mins i had to have them off my car! it vibrates so much, and it changes how the car sound totally like day and night

Vibration isn't that bad. They do change the way the car sounds though
Especially when accelerating at part throttle. plus loose change and sometimes the center consol cn rattle a lot more from the vibration. You can really "feel" the gears in the tranny. I do like the slight gear whine though, sounds cool but isn't overbearing or annoying.

the one i tried is next to solid, alum bracket with delrin insert, i consider that next to
solid, may be i should try asp one, with red poly insert may be that would help alot or wait until they have the street version from either 034 or asp
