Default stupid question but: if you pull axles can you still put the wheels on and roll it?

Im going to be pulling the motor to do stage 3 at my friends shop, but I dont want to occupy his lift for ever..

the plan is to pull the motor one weekend, do the turbo swap, timing belt, and other stuff with the motor out during the week, and back in the following weekend.

its my first time doing a job this big, and while people do it in a weekend id rather just give myself plenty of time..

he just doesnt want a car on one of his three lifts for a week.

hes confident you can move it, but im just double checking..

Put the axles back in before rolling it. You'll damage the bearings if you don't.

Could he roll it around using a cherry picker to "hang" the front? (just asking, no flames please)
