Sudden notchiness during 3-4 upshift? Anyone have this problem?
Have a '02 w/ about 5700 miles on it. Just yesterday, the feeling of the shifter changed. It's slightly notchier going 2-3, but the big change is amount of resistance going 3-4. It much more than it used to be. The 1-2 seems smoother, if anything.
The car is stock, no chip, no short shifter. All downshifts have been double clutched. I don't street race at all and haven't crunched a gear once. I have taken the car on a road course twice, but that was four months ago. Anyone else have the same problem?
