Suggested Tire Size for BBS CH 18x8.5 Wheels?

not dumb.... dumb is putting 235 on the damn car. 225 works soo well....
at most heights.
Plus this guys says he want's springs only... = no height adjustment = screwed.
coilover guy had ultras and it was the highest settings. NOT DUMB.

but 225 imho is damn tight (stretched) on an 8.5" wheel right?!
thats why i cannot decide on what to do with suspenion upgrades. i dont track ever, so i dont need the additional spring rates that the street coilovers offer.
but i want to fit 235s on my 8.5" wheel without any rubbing or fender rollin at all (thus i might still need that height adjustibility).
i am lost with what to do...thats why i try to see what everyone else is running...

Well... if you do not want to roll fenders... 225 is the answer for any suspension
MTM springs are not very aggressive yet they still rubbed on 235.
Now I am running 25" all around and have H&R Ultras on and they only rub very occassionaly. H&R Streets at that setting 25" would definitely rub even with 225. That means if you want it low... you need the high spring rate and stiffer shock to keep the suspension travel to a minimum.
Yes... 225 on a 8.5 wheel is definitely pushing it but it's not that bad. Depending on what tires you get. Toyo's run skinny normally, Bridgestones run wider and so do Yokohama. Not all but some.
