Suggestions please
started a previous post on buying a 01 s4. im in process of buying.but today I got the car inspected and four things came up
1. upper control arm busings for both sides showing need for replacement soon
2. back brakes due and fronts 50%
3. electronic cluster in digital dashboard as i found its common
4. code: P0706 ? something with transmission range
I dont worry so much on the top 3 but the code error is what keeps me waiting to close the deal. I need to find out soon. Im trying to find a good warranty company because my credit union is trying to charge me a bundle ($3,300) for a 3yr/36kmile bumper to bumper warranty. Excludes wear and tear. I see some of you guys with cheaper warrantys covering everything for a longer period of time.
