Default It's the same...

Don't bother removing the rearmost screw though. It's easier just to bend the cover upwards a bit, and no harm is done.

Default I just like to do things the correct way...IMHO

It's not that hard to loosen the cowl under the wipers...two second job. Then you can get to the fifth screw w/o problem 8^ )

Default Actually...

I can get to the fifth screw without loosening the wiper cowl at all, with a small ratchet and an extension. I did it that way with the A4. However, leaving the fifth screw in and just moving the compartment lid far enough to remove and replace the ECU is easier, and it keeps the edges of the screw itself untouched, and so a dealer is much less likely to call it tampering.
