Default Thanks to everyone for all the help getting my car together, few latest pics . . .

to sum up, I basically want an RS4 engine. I got some normally aspirated heads and had them ported to match the RS4 intake manifold. "Regular" KO4's and full RS4 intake tract.

Went with Matrix Integrated's recommendation of Raceware head studs. Very nice parts. The instructions are wrong for the S4. The actual installed stud height is somewhere around 94-95mm (not 112-116) above the deck height with no head gasket.

I can't believe this pic came out but the nuts installed with Raceware's recommended 12-16mm of thread engagement. Sharpie silver paint pen to help me count . . .

I got the heads torqued down and installed 6 fresh NGK sparking plugs.

As I stated earlier I loosened the cam sprockets slightly to get the belt on. New rollers, waterpump, tensioner damper, thermostat etc . . .

Installed and ready to fly . . .

Just begging for it . . .

Default Looking really good Jeff.....

couple questoins:

Was there a lot of difference between the stock 2.8 intake port and the RS4 intake manifold that you ported it to?

Any thicker head gasket?

Can't wait to see what it does!!!!

nice. Remember, Pahrump is coming up, you'll want time to dial it in first...
