Default For those that are stage 3, question....

Within the next year I might be looking to go stage 3. Only thing that is keeping me away from it, is the cost of putting $10K or whatever it comes to, into a car that might be worth the same value.

I only have 58K miles on my car.

Would you guys just ride the stock k03's till they die???

No. Do K04's on your schedule, not turbo lady's.

If you're smart about acquiring parts, you can save a lot.

Default Here is how I justified it ... S4 cost + Stage 3 < any other comparable car with same performance

Stage 3 S4's are an absolute bargain !!! and one of the best kept secrets around ... in my opinion

Other cars in this class of performance and luxury are 80k+

Caveat ... if you don't plan on keeping the car for a long time (forever), then the relative value of investing mod money into it is greatly reduced, because you'll never ever recoup mod cost when re-selling

So, knowing this ... if you aren't "emotionally attached" to your S4 like I am to mine, rather than mod it to Stage 3, the best dollar-wise choice you could make is to sell your un-modded S4 and buy a Stage 3 car from someone else

Yes. Understand stage 3. No problem. How about your widebody justification?

Default Same justification .. not as much of a bargain is all

I bought my S4 4.5 years ago for 25k

Stage 3 engine work, plus IC's & Milltek

plus Wide-body & euro rear

plus suspension/drivetrain/BBK/wheels&tires

Total investment will still be cheaper than any other car in this class.

and

none of those other cars will ever turn heads and make people so envious as mine will when it's done next month

Your car will look sweet with widebody! If my car did not have so many miles, I would consider it.
