For those of you with aftermarket warranties and bad/fading instrument cluster displays...
...they are covered! Just got the ok today. It was actually much easier than I had thought, they didn't even put up any sort of fight. They are covering 100% of the $783 gauge cluster and 2 hours of labor for the install. Just thought I'd pass on the info :-)

Good to hear. I had some trouble when mine crapped out. While everything in the cluster worked fine, it must have had some bad internal circuitry or something because with it plugged in the alarm didn't work, and the interior dome lights would stay on. Because I put the OCT boost gauge in there, the audi dealer I took it too wouldn't even test to see that it was faulty. Needless to say I have temporarily taken the OCT parts out and plan to take it to another place when I get a chance. Nice to know that once I get past the dealer my warrantee should take care of it.
