Default Tie rod end help Por favor

How many of you used a jack to jack up the suspension when doing TREs.

I see why this might make it easier to do the TRE but it seems dangerous with a loaded suspension.

With stiffer suspension wouldnt you also run the risk of pushing the car off the jack stands.

So guess my question is; is it necessary to jack the suspension and how much harder am i making it on myself if i don't

TIA

Default well...

the tires have to come off so I did it with the load off. Jack stands under the jack mounts and a jack under the suspesnion. you have to really jack way beyond common sense (the suspension that is) for it to be dangerous. It will come apart without taking the load off though.

Alright thanks. Pure motorsports still the best place for TREs?

I like ECS's HD ones... not sure if you can buy those from other sources though.
