WOW! audi should give you a huge rebate for that. basically broken car for 60k miles etc etc etc!

yah, but, how were you sure? pulled the valve covers and checked valve timing against tdc?

$450 labor per timing belt job... Raj, you need to charge a higher tool rental fee

Default the pins in the cam bar..if anything is off is the way the cams were put in (aligned)

not the way the cams were cut ..and it was more like 1/2 toth off ..since the cam gears don't have a ceratin position on the cam shafts. that's why alinging the lobes on the camshaft (the 2 flat spots on the cams must face eachother) using the bar (one position - big holes inwards) and having the pin (only one spot will go into-TCD) there is no way that is not TCD .. unless they - AUDI cut/machined the crank and the cams all wrong.
